3 banana= 2 apples. (i)
6 apple=4 oranges. (ii)
Multiplying (i) by 6 and (ii) by 2 and comparing
18 banana=12 apples=8 oranges
So, cost of 18 bananas = cost of 8 oranges

At Frank's Fruit Market, 3 bananas cost as much as 2 apples, and 6 apples cost as much as 4 oranges. How many oranges cost as much as 18 bananas?

(A) 6
(B) 8
(C) 9
(D) 12
(E) 18

Say, Cost of 3 Bananas = 3B ; Cost of 2 Apples = 2A, Cost of 4 Orange = 4P

We know, 3B =2A

Or 9B = 6A ----- (I)

6A = 4P ---- (II)

From I & II we get

9B = 4P

18B = 8P

IMO Option (B)
