Hi,
I have posted a few inquiries on Australian unis in this forum, but it's alright to write another one I guess.
I finished my undergraduate in Monash, but I have a few friends that had completed their MBA in Monash. I'm not sure about their entry requirements now, but those friends of mine are apparently able to get into its MBA without any work experience, and therefore I suspect that the interaction between classmates will not be very intriguing, especially for the purpose of broadening your horizons.
MBA degrees are not very appreciated by Australian companies in general. Australian companies generally prefer candidates with a lot of work experience rather than Masters degree. With the stagnating economy in Australia and the difficulty on procuring work visa, it is very difficult for foreigners with no Australian PR to obtain a job. I would not go as far to say that it is impossible to get a job there (as I have seen a select few able to get jobs), but it will be extremely difficult. Those facts combined with the high tuition fee, which is comparable to those universities in US or UK, doing an MBA there does not seem to give students a good ROI.
Based on my observation, which may be subjective, plenty of foreigners that do their MBA in Monash are generally rich kids who do masters just for the sake of getting the degree (more often than not Chinese or SE Asian, sometimes with sub-par command of English as well), someone who is rather misinformed about how difficult it is in obtaining a job in Australia, or someone who obtains a huge scholarship. I think University of Melbourne is a slightly better choice if you insist of going there (Melbourne, though, is an awesome city in my opinion, so its a plus doing an MBA in Australia).
If you are willing to throw in around 65K USD for an MBA, and expect a good ROI from it, I really think it is better for you to get MBA from a more currently immigrant-friendly country such as Netherlands, France, and arguably, Singapore.
Hope this helps!
