Where did you hear that? I have talked to many current students at Ross and they specifically said there are no plans to increase class size.

I think the plan is to be able to bring the undergrads back into the Ross campus area. From what I understand they have kicked them out for now until they have more space.

I dont like the fact that the building is not on time... if there is one delay, there might be more... they could pull a Boeing on us. ;)

I read something about 'serving more students' on their website but I cannot find it right now hmmmm ... I will let you know if I find that page. But anyways, the space in the b-school building will be increased by 90,000 square-foot so it make sanse to increase the class size.

I hope they don't return the undergrads in the b-school building :) it would suck to have to share the building with a bunch of 18 year olds :puke

haha, Haas shares that building with FT, Exec, PT, and undergrad business students. no wonder space is a premium there...

According to the employment profile 2007 graduates from Ross that went into Investment Banking did not earn more than 120k max. (according to the range figure)

How can that be true? Shouldn't at least a few people headed towards IB make a lot more than that?

Branson- I could be wrong here but IBankers make a siginificant amount through their bonuses. So, the guaranteed compensation at the end is the guaranteed bonus that they make. So you are not talking about $140k-ish and then that is the guaranteed pay. Your bonus will obviously depend on your performance.

Again, thats my guess :)

Agree with dosa_don. If you look to next columns you will see the full picture. For IB it is 110400+40000+40000=190400 USD considering the signing and other guaranteed compensation. Not bad, isnt?

i'm wondering if that's a consideration in the timeframe it takes for a response
also... did the Consortium interview also count for each of the schools applied to???

livingfossil, the only R1 consortium applicant that I know of is skaballet. You can trying PMing skaballet with your questions.

If you applied to Ross thru Consortium round 2 then will be notified of Ross's decision on their deadline date for R2 with all applicants. Whether or not you need another interview (other than Consortium) is school specific. For Ross I was invited to interview. Hope that helps.

am in the same boat.. my app went complete in mid jan.

I suppose they have put all the desis aside to be evaluated later. :?

Considering R1 interview rate around %60, I think there is still pretty good chances to be called for interview. For example in applicant411.com R2 interview rate is just %30. I am sure that it definitely must go up.

Btw are the schools, particularly Ross, are interviewing less percentage of applicants in R2 comparing to R1?

FYI

Betweekn Jan 9 (deadline) and March 15 (decision day) there are 72 days

Feb 8 was the 36th day since the deadline, therefore have already 'survived' more than half of the waiting period... less than half more to go :)

PS the wait is killing me :(

Yup, I agree with todoornot. Even in R-1, it looked like Ross invited all the Desi applicants towards the end. Well, at least I'm going to keep telling myself this until the first Desi gets his/her invite. Then I'll start stressing :)

this is quite perplexing. I see no interview invites from Ross whatsoever on any of the forums. Has Ross finished inviting the more strong applicants and is now busy comparing the others ? The % of invites is quite low compared to R1. What is the last date by which Ross would finish sending its invites ?

I think the number of applicants is low because Ross is getting more into invitation based interviews. So this year the total number of interviews can be lower and accordingly total number of admit/interviewed ratio can be higher.
On the other hand Ross is more like safety school for M7 applicants. Therefore they must be interested to give more interviews (accordingly more admits) in order to ensure appropriate yield.
However lets wait. There is still lot of time...and lot of Tuesdays :)
