thanks kryzak. just gets frustrating when they get back to several others and not you.. makes you a bit paranoid.

hehe..... bobo, if you get paranoid waiting...that too for UCLA, be prepared to explore the heights and depths of paranoia. C'mon it is UCLA....spare a thought for the many others who like me haven't heard a thing from UCLA, since their app went complete back in Jan. Or for others like Avi who was put into the waitlist for R1 and hasn't heard from them since then...

Cheer up and feel good about it :-D

sorry, didnt mean to come across as obnoxious... its just that im under a lot of stress b/c i only applied to 1 other school R2 and its been dead silence...also considering its a top 3 school im pretty sure i didnt get in... so a lot of stress on hearing back from UCLA. i didnt apply to a list of schools like most others did.

Don't worry you didn't...I just wanted you to feel good about it :-D
There is always gonna be that period in the app cycle where nothing happens and the trick is to get through it without getting bogged down...

Well today became one of the happiest days of my life. I just got my acceptance email to Anderson. I'm in!!!!!!!
When I started this process I didn't think UCLA was on even on my radar and I just decided to take a shot at it.

It looks like they are doing rolling admissions each Wednesday night (last week was the 1st) and the turnaround time between interview and admit seems to be 2-3 weeks (based on a small sample population). Keep up hope everyone!

I wish I could make Anderson days in March but I'll be skiing in Park City Utah that weekend. Looks like I'll be making the next one in April.

I called the Admissions office to see if they'd answer me on that same question but their response was, "interview invites are still being sent out, up until the admission decision deadline."

However, I see that as more of a PC response so that they don't give you any hint of a decision until that time. I think if you haven't gotten an interview invite by now (I haven't either) then you can expect a "ding" and start preparing for next year.

Don't give up hope until you get a positive negative. with a 2 week turn around, things can still happen. I submitted my application on the deadline 1/2 and didn't hear about my missing transcript until this past Friday. Supposedly this means they haven't reviewed my application at all (not until it's 100% complete) - you sure your application is complete?

I just got an invite!!!! When I saw the email come into my inbox I jump/screamed and ran around the block. My boss thinks I'm nuts!

Anyway, don't give up if you haven't heard from Anderson yet. I hear they're really backed up. I only got my "complete" email on Feb 20. It costs you much less energy and suffering to keep hoping than to accept an early and potentially unwarranted defeat.

Sure, its allowed

My basic profile is
760 GMAT, 3.25 GPA from big state school, 5 yrs WE in IT, excellent work performance, poor ECs.

I honestly thought I would get an interview from Anderson. I am surprised I got waitlisted without an interview.

You should receive an email with a status check link and a multi digit code that identifies you. If you applied in round 2 and haven't received this yet, I'd call their office.
