This one is easy.
Only 1 split. Higgins contends that .......,and that


To present the meaning parallelism is very important.
Since the Higgins is contending 2 things , it is better to show in parallel str.

2nd split individuals who have.... and who have

Since both individuals are different not necessarily the same , we need to use 'who have' again.

split : they vs these individuals , ofcourse these individuals is better as they can refer to other nouns as well
This bing us to B and D. D is better as it provides right parallel structure.While in B after last 'and' structure is not parallel.

And also in option B parallel structure that is missing: Dr. Higgins contends that individuals who have experienced emotional trauma in a hospital setting and who have witnessed others in similar circumstances will respond negatively under stressful conditions caused by insufficient sleep and by low blood sugar labels, and that these individuals will benefit from hypnotherapy

aragonn i have slightly changed the answer options now.
