Hello,

Can anyone please evaluate my ESR with area's of improvement? Especially verbal?

Is it possible that if I screw in RC, I wont be getting tough questions for CR?

I was scoring in the range of V28- V30 in Manhattan and Prep test.
So v20 was a total shocker.

Hi Prashant10692,

Before we discuss your ESR - and how you might improve on this Score - it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your EXACT goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

The biggest thing I notice is that your SC sub-score is lower than your CR. You should focus most of your attention on SC and do a little bit of CR and RC until your SC improves, then go back to studying them in parallel.

You also seemed to have been rushed in the last quarter of the verbal section. Did you get stuck on an RC passage? Your average RC time/q seems a little bit high.

Hello JaeTPU ,

Yes I think I made quite a few mistakes in the easy SC question and this ruined my score especially in the 500 level question. I need to improve a lot. I am applying POE and while solving any question focus is on elimination of all wrong vs finding one right answer.

Till now I have considered CR to be my strength and I was able to solve more than 50% of 700 level questions. I think I need to work on it too after this devastating score.

For RC I am now giving more importance to the structure and map of teh RC rather than facts and I can see some improvements.

Is it the right strategy?
