Find 'c' in the equation 3x^2 + 2x - c = 0 if the difference of the squares of the root is 20/9.

Let m and n be the roots

m+n = -2/3
| m^2 - n^2 | = 20/9

|m-n| =(20/9)(3/2) = 10/3

(m+n)^2 minus (m-n)^2 = 4mn = -4c/3 = -32/3

c = 8
