49 in quant is amazing dude. .

u gotto work on verbal.. guess e-gmat can help. .

btw.

How was IR in comparison to the one in Manhattan CATs?

I find IR very time consuming on Manhattan CATs and I have never been able to complete the section in these tests. Couldn't go beyond the score of 1.7 so far..

Is IR really tough on teh gmat or is it manageable?

The IR was comparatively easy. I do not have idea about the Manhattan CATs as I just gave the first one( the free one) so would compare the GMAT IR with it. The Manhattan IR questions are more time taking as you get different data for all the questions. The actual GMAT exam has 2 or 3 questions with the same table or chart. only 1 or 2 questions were there who were independent. I decided that I will only target for 10 questions in this section so that I could give more to the questions I attempt.

oh ok.. nice to know. .
how did u prepare for quant.. 49 is really good .

Honestly, i did not prepare much for the GMAT. For quants, I just went through the formulae and about 50 questions in total. Did a lot more in verbal. but I will not give up. I will bounce back :)
