Hi gastoneMIT,
The Scheduling options for the At-home GMAT and the traditional Test Center GMAT do NOT impact one another (meaning that you could take one of each on back-to-back days - or even on the same day - if you really wanted to, although I would NOT recommend that you take either of those options). However, each attempt does count towards your 8-Test lifetime 'limit' and you do have to wait 16 days between attempts in the same format.
In a recent post, you noted that you were facing some issues in the Verbal section - so if you scored significantly lower than your Goal Score on this recent Official GMAT, then "rushing in" to retest too quickly would likely not be the best idea (as there's a strong chance that you'll earn a similar Score - and ultimately waste some money and one your 8 attempts).
Many GMATers who take the At-home Exam wait 2-3 days to receive their Official Scores (although it sometimes takes longer than that). Once you have your results, you should post back here (or you can feel free to PM me directly) and we can discuss how you might best proceed with your studies.
