I would like, and pretty much need, to take the GMAT in 5 weeks. My goal is to get a score of 650. The study resources I have been using are:
Kaplan GMAT Premier 2011
The Official Guide 12th Edition
Kaplan GMAT Math Workbook
Kaplan GMAT 800
The 2 ETS Practice tests.
At this point, my GMAT practice test scores are hovering around 600, maybe 610. My verbal score is in the high 30's and my quantitative score tends to be in the low 30's. I am not overly concerned about my verbal score. I am a native english speaker and my score so far on verbal seems pretty good. My quantitative score is where I think I need the most work.
I just ordered
the Official Guide 13th edition and the
Manhattan GMAT Number Properties and Word Translations books. On one hand, I think I should spend most of my study in going over the problems in
the official guide. I have completed doing most of the problem solving and soon I will start the data sufficiency questions. But, on the other hand I think maybe I need to spend more time on reviewing concepts in order to push my score to 650. That is why I just ordered the two
Manhattan GMAT books. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I should be spending my remaining study time? And, do you think I have a good shot of being able to hit 650 in the next 5 weeks? Thank you.
