Re: Has anyone heard of Quantum Prep? [#permalink]
Hey Rich! Thanks for the detailed response, I really appreciate it. I've been contemplating whether or not I wanted to my MBA for about half a year. After attending a few seminars, I made up my mind to do it.

I'm new to everything GMAT related. I've done some research with regards to prep courses and whatnot, but I'm not sure where to start.

To answer your questions
1) What is your goal score?
660-700

2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?

In about a year and a half to two years. This is because I was never really good at math in highschool, so I have to brush up and relearn everything

3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

1-2 years

So I'm willing to pay whatever to get this done, and I want to put as much time in as possible. I'm graduating in a few months with a respectable GPA.

Hi femaw,

The fact that you're thinking this far ahead is great. You'll have the freedom to properly prepare and plan out your application strategy. Since you're still in School, you might want to finish up with that series of activities before you get into anything GMAT-related. Also, since you admit to having some problems with Quant-related materials, you can relearn the basics and get in some practice for free at Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.org).

Once that's done, you can decide how best to study for the GMAT. With your score goal, you'll likely want to invest in a Course of some type (either Instructor-Led or Guided Self-Study).

If you have any additional questions at any time during this whole process, you can feel free to contact me directly.

So I went to a seminar for Schulich School of Business, and for the GMAT section, they provided Quantum Prep. From what I saw in the session, it seams really legit, and I'm sold on it. The only issue is I can't seem to find any reviews on it. There's absolutely nothing I can find relating to it. Have you heard of it? What are your thoughts? Furthermore, what's the best prep guide, Manhattan?

There are a lot of Companies offering GMAT Prep courses. You can check a lot of them here. Gmatclub also has the reviews of all of those companies. So, be sure to check that as well.
