Hi there,
I am an MBA applicant with a non-traditional background on television news and very limited business experience. I've been accepted by some schools and waitlisted at others. I'm considering taking the online HBX CORe program or Wharton's Business Foundations. I figure that these courses will help get me up to speed when my program begins, and hope that it might help me get off a waitlist over the spring.
I just started Wharton's free trial, and been accepted to HBX. Is there any advantage to one course over the other? Does one strengthen my application more than the other?
Thank you!
are you planning these programs with the focus of gaining certain skills (quant, probably)? If yes, then analyze which program will help you achieve those better.
Other than that, I would go through the course contents and understand which is a more useful course and also excites me more to learn in terms of content, presenter (star faculty could be another one) and assignments. I believe all this info is listed out in the program content and can be viewed before you purchase.
