Re: How can I ensure information is fresh in my head come test day? [#permalink]
Hi Tim1996 ..
You should keep your habit of solving questions every day. It is the only way by which you stay in line and not forget the things. Another way is to do mocks and analyze your error log. You can also go through flashcards / concepts files once again. All the best for your exam.

Hi Everyone,

I am scheduled to take the GMAT on February 1st. I have taken multiple practice tests and have completed all of the practice problems in the GMAT Official Guide 2019 book.

My question is how can I ensure that all of the material I have learned is fresh in my mind come test day? Are there any sources of good daily practice quant/verbal questions that I can do to ensure that I have not forgotten anything come test day? I would have picked an earlier test date, but Feb 1st was the earliest available.

Thank you for the help, I hope my question makes sense.

Hi Tim1996,

Period review of concepts (and some practice questions) is often a good use of study time - and some GMATers find that reviewing a Mistake Tracker/Error Log can also be beneficial. This can help to keep content knowledge (re: formulas, grammar rules, etc.), Tactics and GMAT patterns fresh in your mind.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

It's good do just take a proper rest since you are ready for the big day. Majority of people says that the lack of sleep was the issue for poor performance
