Everybody has mentioned about OGs to be used for GMAT preparation. However, I am yet to figure out - how to use them properly because the concepts are not explained in detail in OGs, but the questions are closest to the real GMAT (as mentioned by everybody).
I am not able to figure out if -
(1) I should time and solve 10 (or 20, or 50) SC / CR problems in a go, then study further, then again solve rest of the problems.
Or, (2) I should time and solve all the problems AFTER studying the concepts and practicing from other books.
Or, (3) I should follow (1) or (2) without keeping an eye on time.
Or, (4) There is any other better method to use OGs.
My main focus is on Verbal part. The other books, I am using, are -
1) OG Verbal (offcourse)
2) MGMAT SC
3) PowerScore CR Bible
I have scored V34 recently in MGMAT free test. Want to find the way ahead. Targeting 720+. I am planning to spend not less than 150 hours of study further.

Many Test Takers who use a 'book heavy' study approach end up getting 'stuck' at a particular score level, so you'll likely end up needing to invest in some non-book resources. The OG books are great sources for practice questions, but they're not designed to teach you Tactics, patterns or the little 'secrets' behind the GMAT - for those, you'll need Course-oriented materials. To that end, you would probably find it most beneficial to work on the OG a little later on in your studies.
1) How long have you studied?
2) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
3) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
