(2) no info about the direction, it can be east, west or north.
(1)+(2)
Pythagorean theorema:
12^2+9^2=225
A to B=225^1/2=15

Answer C.

Option C

From st1 we don’t have any idea about the distance btw A and B
From st2 we got the distance btw B and C but no clue about A and B

Combining we can form a right triangle and the distance is 15 miles between A and B

St1 gives us the direction of where B is. Basically, it tells us that Towns A, B and C form a right angle, insufficient.
St2, Now we're given the second leg of a triangle, insufficient, since we don't know if it's a right triangle.

1+2, this gives us the length of the legs and it's a right triangle.

I'd love to hear any feedback or ways to improve my problem solving. I make a lot of silly mistakes. If you've had luck improving on stupid mistakes, I'd love to hear how you did it.
