I got 700 ! [#permalink]

Hi friends,
I joined this club just one week back; I took GMAT on 28th and got 700.
(Note that there is no causal relationship! )

It was my second attempt. Around one year back I got only 540. I changed my orientation, worked more on verbal and got good resultsthis time.
If any body wants any kind of assistance from me , I will do my bit.

I do not know, where I should apply. I want to go to a public college where I will have to pay less fees. Can anybody give me some guidance?

Thank you

Hi Eagle!!

Good job! Thats a great score. I took the test about a year ago too and scored a 550 (V31 Q35) and I'm looking to boost that score up in Oct this year. Ofcourse to reach 700 would be a dream for me!! Anyways, you're an inspiration!

Can you give me the section break up of ur scores last time and this time?
What exactly did you do to increase your scores in Verbal and Quant?

Well, you could apply to lotsa good schools with your score, really depends on your background, work ex, choice of specialisation and ofcourse budget! If you let us know that I'm sure you'll get lotsa advice from people here.

BTW, where in India are you?

Hey great job man. I'm sure more people will be writing to congratulate you. I believe that you can get scholarship money at a lot of public colleges. However I don't know too much about the subject, so I will yield to someone more knowledgeable than myself to offer guidance. Best of luck!!!

Great score man...
Kindly tell us about the books that you used to prepare for verbal. One year back i got 590 (49-Q, 22_V). Taking again in Otober... really need to boost my verbal score. Let me know what strategies you used to improve your verbal score and which book/CD helped you most....
thanks in advance

Soon you will start getting mail from colleges that will want to offer you a scholarship, assuming you answered the survey questions at the end of the CAT before you learned your score. Some of them may interest you, or at the very least, give you an idea of what you might be looking for in a school.

Eagle

That's an awesome progress! Could you tell your study plan and how many hours you spent on GMAT every day?
