Hi,
I'm also applying for IE Business School November 2013 intake. How was your interview?
Do you or does anyone have experience with the ieGAT (IE Global Admission Test) instead of the GMAT?
And is there a specification for the required CV?
Thanks....
Hi
I got accepted into IE business school for November 2013 intake last week. Really excited..
The interview was tough but I managed. The questions I was asked were:
- tell me your story. Basically they want to know what is unique about you.
- why IE? Why an MBA?
- what will you bring to the program?
- I was asked to give 2 elevator pitches on my a company should hire me post my MBA and another one on a business idea to investors were I had state the idea, why the need for it and why the investors should invest. He gave me a minute to prepare for each pitch
- macroeconomic questions like what problem will google and Facebook face in 10 years, what is the problem with the euro zone and where do I think Chinese economy will be in 15 years
That is what I remember for now.
I did the ieGAT test and it wasn't bad. You can't prepare for it and that is what I preferred compared to the GMAT. The ieGAT test was Mathis and English. Not hard at all.
Regarding the cv, there isn't anything specific but I suggest you highlight any entrepreneurial experiences as well as how you have embraced diversity in your professional and personal achievements.
I hope that helps.
All the best! Hope to hear good news!
