I am not sure of the solution , I am getting answer as A ; 5

Area of $$\Delta AFG$$ = $$\frac{1}{2} * 4 *AB$$=10
So AB ( side of a square ) =5 =AD

Area of $$\Delta AEC$$ = $$\frac{1}{2} * 2 *AD$$ $$\rightarrow$$ $$\frac{1}{2} * 2 *5= 5$$

Ans = 5
