Area = 0.5*Base*Height
24 = 0.5 * B * H

To find C we need both B & H.
As $$C^2 = A^2 + B^2$$

(1) gives us the Height. Suff to find Base using area formula above.

(2) gives us the base. Suff to find height by using formula above.

Hence Option (D) is our answer.
