\(5\frac{1}{2}=\frac{11}{2}\) and \(2\frac{3}{8}=\frac{19}{8}\):

Given: \(\frac{4}{(\frac{11}{2})} = \frac{y}{(\frac{19}{8})}\);

\(\frac{8}{11} = \frac{8y}{19}\)

\(y= \frac{19}{11}\).

Answer: D.

4 * 19/8 = 11/2 * y
y = 19/11

\(\frac{(4*2)}{11} = \frac{8y}{19}\)

\(\frac{8y}{19} = \frac{8}{11}\)

\(y = \frac{19}{11}\).

5(1/2)=11/2
2(3/8)=19/8

4/(11/2)=y/(19/8)
8/11=8y/19
y=19/11
So D should be the answer
