If x - 1/3^7 - 1/3^8 - 1/3^9 = 1/3^9, then x =

2/3^4
2/3^5
1/3^5
1/3^7
2/3^10

If I solve this problem through the longer route I get
x = 9+18+6+2/3^7 = 35/3^7

Can anyone help me to pick my mistake?

study, can you plz check if there is a typo in the question? In the current form, even I got 14/3^9.

If the question is asking for an approx x, then it could be 1/3^7.
