We can translate the stem: y=4x z=0.5y=0.5*4x=2x
y+z=4x+2x=6x
In My Opinion Ans: B

E. 11x Given , y = 4x z =\(\frac{1}{2}\) * 4x z = 2x Question : y + z = 4x + 2x = 6x . Thus the best answer is B.

E. 11x Since y = 4x and z = ½y, then y = 2z. So 2z = 4x and z = 2x. Thus, y + z = 4x + 2x = 6x. Answer: B

OA: B
\(y = 4x\) .....(1) \(z = \frac{1}{2} y\).....(2) putting (1) into (2), we get \(z = \frac{1}{2}*4x\) \(z = 2x\)
then \(y+z =4x + 2x = 6x\)
