I'm assuming 30 days in a month.
Let the amount of food in the garrison initially be 300,000 units. So we have 100 units of food per soldier per day.
After 10 days, the amount of food that will be left = 300,000 - (100*1000) = 200,000. But the number of soldiers is being doubled after 10 days, so if the initial food was meant to last for 20 more days, now it will last for only 10 days. Ans - B.
