My concern is since MBA does not fall under STEM , H1B visas will be hard to come by for international students .
Is it true that H1B visa post M . S . is easy to get compared to H1B post MBA ? Only 20,000 visas are available to students in US , and most of these visas go to M . S . students ( STEM ) , not MBA ones . Is it getting increasingly difficult to secure a job in USA post MBA now ? A US MBA costs a lot . . . Also , if I go back to my home country post US MBA . . it will be very difficult to pay student loans soon.

Will this change anytime soon or the preference for STEM will continue for sometime in US?

i am also searching for same, if you got any information, please share. I have searched that being in top 30 schools do improve chances because h1b sponsor companies recruit at these schools, further joining public school can also improve chances because the 20000 additional cap is for students from public schools only.

Puneet, ru sure about this ->'20000 additional cap is for students from public schools only' ..?? Can anyone please clarify ..

this i have searched on immigration website. 20000 cap is for non profit schools and public schools, because these schools charge higher fee from international students, which is double of their normal fee.

It would be great if some current student can provide some information regarding this

So did you guys ended up in a US MBA program and how did you guys deal with the H-1B problem? Would really appreciate any tips. I am considering going to a top 5 MBA in US and I am rather anxious if this is going to work out because I know there H-1B quota runs out in practically a week over the last years....
