t = d/r

d/r > D/R

d = D + 20

(D+20)/r > D/R

Insufficient.

d/(R+20) > D/R

Also insufficient because we don’t have specific value.

combined

(D+20)/(R+20) > D/R

Rearranged to be

R (D+20) > D (R+20)

Without knowing the specific values we cannot tell.

Insufficient

@Bunuel-Can you please post OE for this? I got C, so would like to know how E is the answer?

Hi KS15

My take on this question is

t = d/r

T = D/R

d = D + 20

Let D be 10 so d = 30

let r be = 5 so 30/5 = 6

If R = 2 then T = 10/2 = 5

6 > 5 yes

If R = 1 then T = 10/1 = 10

6 > 10 no

A is insufficient.

The same thing can be said about statement 2)

So insufficient.

Combined

D+20/R+20 > D/R

R (D + 20) > D (R + 20)

D = 5
R = 1

25 > 105 no

If D = 1
R = 5

105 > 25 yes.

Thus even combined insufficient.

I hope this helps
