Low GMAT score

In early July, you noted that you had scored 570 on a CAT. GMAC has publicly stated that the Official Score that you earn on Test Day is within +/- 30 points of actual ability. Your recent Official Score (610) is close enough to that prior CAT Score that you essentially performed the same on those 2 Exams (about 590 +/- a few points). You handle certain aspects of the GMAT consistently well, but you also make certain consistent mistakes. It's also possible that you have gotten 'stuck' at this general score level and you may have developed some 'bad habits' that are keeping you from scoring higher. The fluctuations in your CAT Scores could be due to a variety of factors. Since you were studying as far back as the middle of 2018, had you taken any of those CATs before?

You mentioned possibly purchasing the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

If you are interested in how you would score on the GRE, then you can take a free practice Exam and find out. You can access 2 for free from www.gre.org. Make sure to set aside enough time to take the full Exam in one sitting and let's see how you do. You might find it beneficial to do some vocabulary review before taking that practice test (since the GRE places a much greater emphasis on one's vocabulary knowledge than the GMAT does).

I'm sorry to hear that you weren't happy with your score.

However, do note that the score is only one of the inputs you'll need for an admit especially from universities abroad. Generally, in Europe, due to non-native English speakers, scores of 550+ are acceptable.
