So I've been accepted in to two Top 25 MBA programs on the condition that I score well on Executive Assessment. I find the GMAC EA study guide is less than optimal. I figure that I'll study for the GMAT course for next 30 days minus the geometry portion and any other material that isn't scored on the EA. I need the most help with the quantitative and sentence structure part of the test. Should I buy the
Manhattan Prep GMAT book set or follow the
Magoosh 30-day study plan that uses
Magoosh materials and the GMAC
Official Guide?
Dear
PaulSG,
This is Mike McGarry from
Magoosh. I'm happy to respond.
First of all, I don't know that either is a bad choice--it many ways, it's win-win. The
MGMAT books are superb. Depending how much time you have, you could do
both: read the
MGMAT math (minus geometry) & SC books, and watch the
Magoosh math (minus geometry) & SC videos. Hearing ideas in more than one way can help you learn more deeply. You will have a little extra time in the schedule if you omit geometry & RC & CR.
Certainly one option would be to sign up for
Magoosh and check it out during the 7-day trial. That would give you a feel for what we offer.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask me anything else. Best of luck!
Mike
