Re: Managing Recommenders [#permalink]
it's good to know I wasn't the only one who went through this (and would be going through it again for my pending applications). For my 1st application, I actually thought my boss didn't submit and I went off to sleep feeling sad and a little angry. The next day for some reason I went back to the website and saw it had been submitted!

Now I've to apply to McCombs and have reminded my evaluators twice that it's on a rolling basis, but still none of them have submitted. Waiting till Monday to remind again. I think LORs should be made optional since they don't serve much purpose anyway.

My one rec has missed 3 out of 4 deadlines so far. Luckily admissions has agreed to accept his rec as long as it was "near" the deadline. Four schools in two weeks was a little aggressive on my part, but my rec is just one of those last minute guys unless its his butt in the sling. That said, I'm sure he wrote me amazing recommendations, so it should all work out in the end.

No more mba anything for me over the weekend. I'm unplugging for a couple days.
