Hi Members,
I know this question has been asked time and again, yet to clear the smoke in my head i am tempted to ask it once more.
How fair approximation is the
MGMAT CAT score of the final GMAT?
I have three weeks to my real GMAT, and my performance in the past 3 MGMATS (CAT 3, 4, and 5) are as follows:-
MGMAT3 MGMAT4 MGMAT5
670(Q45/V36) 700(Q47/V38) 700(Q44/V41)
All of the above were timed tests. And all were in GMAT like conditions other than the third one where an important call during the quant section disturbed me for a short while.
The number of questions in various difficulty levels:
500-600 - 2 or 3
600-700 - 15-20
700-800 - 15-20
This is my second attempt at GMAT and I want to be doubly sure that I improve upon my earlier score (620(Q48/V28)).
For the past couple of months i have referred the
MGMAT verbal books and i guess that is why my verbal scores have improved.
Please let me know if the
MGMAT scores closely resemble the actual GMAT or if i need to subtract anything from the
MGMAT score to come closer to actual GMAT.
PS: I know people who have scored 760-780 in
MGMAT but 700 in the real gmat and hence my doubt, by that proportion
it seems am still the ~620 level.
Thanks in advance.
