Hi,
While looking at
MGMAT stuff on probability, I found that while the 4th edition has PC, 5th edition doesn't. Should one go for the 4th edition at the risk of losing out on the latest (guess more in line with
OG 13)?
I'm weak in word problems in general and probability and counting in particular. This is my first GMAT attempt (Aug 15 test date) Pls guide on is and the best book to consult for word problems and probability.
Thanks

Hello Atishay,
Welcome to GC
I may not be able to help you on your query on 4th edition or 5th edition but there are many initiatives by the members on GC which you should find useful.
To begin with, you can look at GC Math book which can be downloaded from download section. Here, you will find all topics covered in GMAT and gives you in-depth knowledge. For PC, you will find many ways to tackle the same question and then you can decide which approach suits you.
Personally, I used Manhattan Number Properties 5th edition and i found the approach for combinatorics pretty good.
For questions on particular topics with various difficulty levels, you can look at
