Need help with materials and study plan.

Since you are beginning with preparation, I would recommend you to do the following things.
To build your concepts, you could use the Manhattan Guides for Verbal and Quant. GMAT is
not so much about knowing the concepts but about applying the concepts!

Verbal Section Prep
Additionally, you could use the PowerScore CR bible if you need more help with the CR Section

Quant Section Prep
Once you have completed the Manhattan Strategy Guides to get a basic understanding of the
concepts involved with GMAT Quant, you could use the Quantitative Mega-Thread as an additional
resource.

Follow Bunuel in the Quant forums. Solve all the problem sets in his signature. These sets contain
some awesome questions that give you the true taste of GMAT(Baker's Dozen, 12 Easy Pieces etc)
Even otherwise, make sure you solve each and every question he puts up on the forum.
As for practice in both the sections, you can find all the questions at GMATClub. You should use
the Timer to time yourself while practicing questions.

If you are looking for tests, you could invest in the GMATPrep Bundle - this contains 2 exam
packs - EP1 and EP2 and a question pack QP1. These tests will help you understand where
you are with respect to your target score. You will have 2 free tests other than these 4 tests
Take a free test once you are comfortable with the concepts because only these tests give you
a clear understanding of where you stand with regards to the preparation.
