I want to give gmat old by 31 jan but I am very weak in quant like I would say I even forgot the basics of maths and I would say the same for verbal as of Ir and awa I think I will skip most of it and the score Im aiming is 680 or 700 can i achieve this score with less than 3 months of preparation or I should take more time and give gmat focus but the downside is I will have to prepare for Data insights which has IR included.

I think we’ve had this conversation to some extent before. Not sure if this would help but here’s my two cents -

Take the Class Version if:
> You’re weak at reasoning with graphs, tables, charts
> Have good stamina to last through a 3 hour long exam (with each vital section being 60 mins or so)
> Are good with grammar and logic in Sentence Correction
> Are good with Geometry (can help mitigate an Algebra-Arithmetic weakness)
> Are okay to give the exam by 31st Jan, 2024
-> GMAT Prep takes a minimum of 3 months for most folks starting out. It’s a mental, physical, emotional and financial investment
> Want to apply to Harvard or Wharton for the 2024 intake

Take the Focus Version if:
> You’re good at analyzing graphs, tables, charts
> You have low stamina and can only sit put for 2 hours and 15 minutes (not including the break)
> You’re poor at English grammar, have slight difficulty with contextual understanding of sentences in English
> Are bad with Geometry
> Need to give the exam post 31st Jan, 2024 - you really don’t have much of a choice here
> Need more than 3 months to prepare

These are just my thoughts. There is a hell of a lot more that goes into deciding between the two versions. The above lists are just meant to supplement actual research - which any GMAT aspirant MUST do!!!

I’m afraid I can’t help with questions on MiM requirements... Maybe post in a group chat that’s specific to the school(s) you’re applying to?

AWA shouldn’t matter either way, as all schools will have their own essays to write/SOPs to submit

I think 4-5 is the average, 5-6 should be good enough?

If you’re averse to preparing for IR, then maybe Classic is the way to go. It’ll count for almost a third of your score on the Focus Edition

Guys in GMAT does the best score count or the latest score counts? example if I have a 600, 650 and 630 in the three attempts, then do I have to submit the third 630 score or the besst score of 650?
Hey guys please clarify this. Thanks

that mean the di is section is just IR and data sufficiency(from quant) so in gmat focus the data sufficiency will not be there in quant section right? or will it be there in both quant and DI sections?
