Hello,
I am just beginning my GMAT journey and the number of resources available for prep is great but also a little overwhelming. I am currently a working professional with only about 1.5 years of experience thus far. I am in no rush to apply for an MBA program but am considering applying for one in a few more years once I have about 5-6 years of experience. Since scores are valid for 5 years, I am solely focused on getting a good GMAT score so when I want to apply later I will already have that part of my application completed. I have not done so yet but I plan to take an initial diagnostic official practice test within the next few days to see my score without having studied the material. My end goal is to achieve 645-655+ on the GMAT Focus as this corresponds to that 700+ range on the classic GMAT. After taking the diagnostic test I’m not really sure what the best pathway forward is from there in regards to prep. I have heard many good things about
TTP so I was thinking to just buy that and use that while taking all 6 official practice test spread out over the course of about 6 months. I’ve seen other resources like GMAT Ninja, GMAT club questions,
OG questions,
Manhattan prep, etc. but again not really sure what order to do things in or what is best (or even if just using
TTP alone is enough to get me to my target score range). On top of that, it looks like there is not as much out there right now for the Focus edition since it is brand new. If anyone has any advice on the best pathway/timeline for studying for the Focus edition I would really appreciate the help!
Thank you!
