Start the Prep. with some free video sources to get the fundamentals of Quant & Verbal. Then practice questions of each topic you study from Question Bank of GMAT Club. Select topics & difficulty level and practice a lot. Make your own notes. This will take 2-3 months. Then go for sectional tests n note your mistakes, remember them n dont repeat them. You will do well in full tests then. All the Best.

I haven’t begun my application for ISB R1 yet, the deadline is September 15. Is it too late now?

Not really! ISB application is relatively simpler specially if you have a consultant. The estimated time I have been given by a couple of ex-ISB friends of mine is around 15-20 days with all sorts of buffer. So you still have good amount of time to go.

Hi!

I'll be retaking my gmat in the next 2/3 weeks, I got a 655 but sadly quant was at 66 percentile, I'm currently utilizing the forum quiz for quant, would you guys mind sharing your strategy in doing forum quiz? because I've been finding the questions kinda diff with how GMAT qs are this has resulted in me getting most 30-40% of the questions wrong. Ty!

I usually do set of 5, adaptive difficulty, all category w/ popular not official source.

Don’t get disheartened. You need to introspect your preparation and look for different approaches to solve questions.
What works others might not work you.
You must create your own personalized strategy for preparation as well as attempting questions.
