Re: Just got a 680, 100 pts higher than my practice tests [#permalink]
Thanks guys, I was too stunned at the time to post a more detailed response but here are a few thoughts:

- The practice questions on GMATclub are much harder than the actual test questions IMO. My score breakdown was a 43Q/41V. There were maybe 4 or 5 questions I found to be extremely difficult. I just guessed on these and moved on. Don't spend too much time on one question or you'll fall behind. It's very hard to catch up on the GMAT.

- This will sound counterintuitive, but it helps if you stop studying a few days before the GMAT. I only did one computer GMAT the week before my test. The break helps you relax; you don't want to be stressed out and there isn't much you can learn in the last few days that will help.

- Get a good night's sleep. The test is hard enough when you're at full strength, it is probably a nightmare when you're exhausted and nervous.

- Be confident when you take the test. Imagine that you will do very well.

That's it from me. Good luck all :)
