idioms are being phased out in the tests coming up

hi,

ive heard that SC qns with idioms are being phased out in the actual test.

(i) when is this going to happen? does anyone have an idea? planning to take the test in july
(ii) should it impact my prep for SC (currently following MGMAT) i.e., should i skip reading the chapter and questions in the OG altogether?

Hi tsheshraj,

The SC transitional focus shift away from idioms and towards meaning-based questions has already happened. In fact, it's been a gradual process over the past several years. It's just that the made an announcement about it and drew greater awareness to this development.
