i don't agree.

B implies that they never wore protective gear, as it does not state that just now with the plastic sleds they do not wear gear. So, all else equal, now with plastic sleds kids are still getting hurt more frequently. Maybe the plastic sleds are harder to control, etc... we need an answer choice that explains a DIFFERENCE between now and then OTHER than the quality of the sled. If B said "kids used to wear protective gear on sleds, but now do not", then I would go with that one. But it doesnt, so i stand by C

For CR question the answer would be E. The question asks which one will undermine the evidence. So the choice E says the accidents are inevidable even in wooden sled scenario. This will damage the argument/assumption that only plastic sled causes more accidents.

You already have the answer for math question. :-D
