Re: Value of Boston University PT MBA? [#permalink]
I'd also be curious to hear about people's thoughts on Boston-area part-time MBA programs.

My concern about them is largely that they're ruinously expensive. BU and Olin, while highly regarded (or so I hear) are in the six-figure range. And unless it's a super-elite brand name, I don't see why I should pay top dollar.

Personally, I'm trying to decide between UMass Boston and UMass Amherst's Isenberg school, which offers a "hybrid" online/offline model where you take some classes in person at their office in Boston and some classes online. Isenberg seems to be slightly more prestigious but might offer less in-person interaction, especially with Boston-area business types. I can't tell yet whether the curricula are all that different. The price is right, though: About $25,000 for the whole degree.
