Quick question...
There's a "Reaching Out & Inside the MBA LGBT Event" in Boston on sat. Pleanty of schools I'm interested in learning more about for round 2 will be there, but I'm unsure about if I'm allowed to attend. I am not LGBT, but I 100% support the cause. Can I attend this event, or is it spefically for the LGBT community? I emailed the registrar, and recieved an email back from the Director of Admission at Tepper - CMU. He said:
"Thank you for the email and interest. While the event is offered in conjunction with the Reaching Out MBA conference, anyone would be welcome to join. We'll also be back in Boston in early January as well."
I wanted to make sure this is the feeling all adcom and students at this event before my wife and I attend and start asking about the partners clubs and such. Although I want to gain more information about certain schools, and would love to learn more about how they support the LGBT community, I want to make sure I wouldnt stick out in a bad way to adcom at this event.
Thoughts?
