Answer should be E.

Dilshod, there is no need for "but only" in the answer choice, as only conveys the same meaning, so A and B are out. Of the remaining choices, E is concise and conveys the meaning perfectly.

choice C is wrong because of the phrase "would be trimmed" and D is wrong because of the phrase "were trimming output"

Yes, E it is

It will (future tense) followed by if clause (present tense)

the second "but" is wrong. This is a conditional clause.
"would" is not right in the "if" part of a conditional clause.
