Calling All Consortium 2013 Applicants

jay4den...Im in the same boat, ranked Yale 2 and just heard that I got some money from Yale but not the fellowship. Dont know how to feel about it overall, not sure what it means (if anything) for chances at the fellowship from first school

Very happy for everyone who has received good news about the fellowship in the last few days. This wait is killing me, but I guess I just have to try remain patient and hope to know something by the end of this week.

Congratulations to everyone who got good news today, and good luck to those still waiting! Looks like Ross is a no go for me, but I'm hoping for the waitlist and a chance to get in down the line. Either way, thanks everyone for helping ease the anxiety! It was easier to go through this knowing you all are too.

Bibby44 and jay4den I'm in the boat with you both. I got some money from Yale but not the fellowship. I hope that means there is still a chance for the fellowship at Tuck(my number 1 ranked) school.

Are Tuck calls due out today? Or potentially tomorrow AM?

Does anyone know whether we'll get an email notification if we get a fellowship? I just left the country a few days ago and won't be back for a couple months, so I don't have a way to see if I missed any calls.

Does anyone know if McCombs has a history of giving Consortium applicants who do not receive the fellowship some scholarship funds (their webiste says most grants range from 2-10K with an in- state tuition waiver)

Consortium said that they would be mailing out letters at the end of this week or early next week. Hence, we will know our fates before the end of next week regardless of whether the schools chose to call us or not.

Btw, why doesn't Consortium have an online notification system. That would save all of us the anxiety of waiting for letters in the mail. I will drop that in the suggestion box during OP

Unfortunately, this is blocked at work. But the paranoia and anxiety is alive and well.

I gave up. I think if school decides to give fellowship then I am sure they will call and I did not..very sad

Aren't we supposed to hear about Haas today? I looked at the email they sent me with my account information and it says 3/14.

That was my read of the email. Just checked status online and no change yet. Guess they'll email me at some point today...Which is great because I needed another reason to stare at my inbox.

I don't get it with Haas. They even still told me that you may still be called up till the very last minute... all I could say to myself was..Yeah Right

Yeah today is Haas' notification deadline, but I wouldn't be surprised if they waitlist some people they are still considering but ran out of time to interview... or at least I hope that is the case. Hindsight is always 20/20 but Haas seems to have been terribly slow this year with CGSM Rd 2's. Heads up guys and gals! It's not over yet... just fyi-several of Haas' regular round 2's didn't get an admissions call til late evening PST on their decision deadline... Haas seems to be a little slow all around and they are still new in their return to the Consortium so that could be a factor too

I just submitted my app withdraws today since it looks like schools are ramping up to levy decisions. Far more anxiety-ridden process than I thought it would be -- all my eggs are now officially in the Stern basket
