Five people - Adam, Bob, Craig, Daniel and Evan - are of different ages. Daniel is younger than both Adam and Craig. Craig is younger than Bob but older than Evan. Who among the five is the oldest? D< A, C E<C< B (1) The average age of Adam and Bob is less than the average age of Craig and Evan. A+B <C+E A+ (B-C) <E where (B-C) some positive number This means that E is older A. D <A<E<C<B B is the oldest. Sufficient
(2) The average age of Bob and Craig is less than the average age of Adam and Evan. B+C<A+E B< A + (E-C) Because (E-C) is some Negative Number, we can say that A>B D <E<C<B<A A is the oldest. Sufficient
Concept is good but not in a proper GMAT type format.

This is a poor quality question: on the GMAT, two data sufficiency statements always provide TRUE information and these statements never contradict each other.
