Hi
I gave my GMAT this Tuesday and messed up my verbal section. i scored 610(Q48,V26).
I'm applying for Masters in Management courses this fall. So can you please guide me if I still have chance of getting into LSE,LBS,HEC or Fuqua(MMS) as the are my target schools.
If not then I'll take GMAT again in 2nd week of October. So please guide me how to improve my verbal score in approx 6 weeks. While giving the exam i felt was going fine as the question i was facing were not so easy for me. But I guess the level running throughout the exam must have been low to give me this score. I desperately need some suggestions regarding re-taking the exam. And if yes then how in 6 weeks?
ThankYou
Unfortunately, for your target schools, 610 is a little low; you might want to try to bump it up to 700.
You can still get through with this score but it will be harder. Your essays and overall profile must be extraordinary.
Whether to take your chances with this score or take GMAT again is your call.
If you do plan to take GMAT again, you need to work on your Verbal from scratch. You need to analyze how you perform in each question type and accordingly plan your strategy. We can work further on your strategy if and when you decide to retake.
