Jon,

Thanks for the prompt reply. Mostly i would be applying next year.

I wanted to ask a couple of things

1. Do i need to give GMAT again or is 700 a decent score to get admission in the likes Duke,CMU, Stern.

2. And how are Mays, Steller,Jones(rice),Ross(Michigan) as business schools.

3. To get scholarships in universities what should be my ideal GMAT score

Hey Mayank,
1. A good question. It depends a lot on how much better you think you can do. Obviously if you can hit a 740, it would be fantastic (any more is really unnecessary). See my thoughts about this issue here: to-retake-or-not-to-retake-that-is-the-question-indian-153716.html

2. All are very good. Ross and Jones are better than the other two.

3. Hmmmm, a tough question. Scholarships are based of course on your entire profile. So even if you get an 800, there's no scholarship guarantee. In general, what gets you scholarships is going to a less good school (which is why they give out scholarships, to entice stronger students to join their program)
