Hi,
I have got a GMAT score of 700 and my current work experience is 1.5 yrs. I did my Chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Madras.
I know my score and experience do not pave way for a top ranked college. But i am hoping my past education could support me.(IIT is the most prestigious college in India and very well renowned in the World as well).
I did my Engineering in Chemical and completed my Minor in Management.
My overall GPA was 7.8( I dont think to get the equivalent on the scale of 4 ,it is to be directly divided by 4. I hv asked my friends who have gone out and it generally comes around 3.5-3.6). During college i had worked for the National Service Scheme(NSS) for 4 months( we taught children,oraganized workshops, visited flood hit places in Bihar). I had been a part of my college sponsorship team,which is responsible for getting sponsors for college festival, for two years. I had been an organizing member for department events( I dont have the certificate for this one, so this can be removed).
Regarding my work experience:
Intern:
L&T CASE- 1 month
ONGC:2 months
Job:
Currently working with Reliance Industries Limited (Oil and Gas Sector)(since Jul-12) . I am a part of the project management group of the company that is responsible for planning future activities and handling of Consultants.
I am aiming for CMU, Duke.
Can someone please suggest some other colleges as well.And do i have a fair shot at the above mentioned colleges.

Hey Mayank,
Weeeeeell you have a good profile to start with (most of Top school candidates come from IIT) but you just have WAY too little work experience. You should probably think about working another 1-2 years before you apply, otherwise you're probably not going to see very fantastic results.

1. Do i need to give GMAT again or is 700 a decent score to get admission in the likes Duke,CMU, Stern.
2. And how are Mays, Steller,Jones(rice),Ross(Michigan) as business schools.
3. To get scholarships in universities what should be my ideal GMAT score

Weeeeeell you have a good profile to start with (most of Top school candidates come from IIT) but you just have WAY too little work experience. You should probably think about working another 1-2 years before you apply, otherwise you're probably not going to see very fantastic results.
