Hmmm, the only problem is that without the three+ years prior experience, Ajay can't really get into any MBA programs. So basically he has two choices:

1. Get a job and work for three years (or more) and THEN apply
2. Choose an alternative program like at MF which would help him switch over (which means two more years of studying and not working)

so ajay has no coice but to work in a feild where he doesnt wants to .. the area where he has no intrest whatsoever

and what about low GPA of ajay .. should he go for CFA or something during those 3 years

I'm afraid so. But keep your eyes open, you may find some great opportunities or something that will lead you to another. The low GPA will be a hindrance, and probably rule out Top 10 schools, but depending on how you do at work, you can aim for other top schools. In the meanwhile, just try and find the job that you will like the most, and that will give you the most leadership opportunities.

Or Ajay could work in the construction industry in the sales & estimation or procurement department which involves a bit more commercial aspects than technical aspects thereby giving Ajay the opportunity to interact with the finance department of the company...
