I'm sure this thread will pick up when January comes around, that's been its history

I'm applying to USC and some east schools in Feb! I was going to apply sooner (Jan) but multiple SC adcoms told me it does not matter when you apply because there is no advantage applying early as they do not do rolling admissions, They told me to spend extra time to make my application the best it can be...I think most of my friends who got accepted last year applied in February,

Me Jan too. Took GMAT and hit 680 more than a year ago with little preparation. I will retake it late of this month and hopefully submit app before early deadline :D

The adcom told me there is no preference to applying early, as in applying early does not make it "easier" to get in. I think they just have multiple deadlines so that USC don't get a flood of applicants on the last day. However she did say that you have a higher chance of aid the earlier you apply

me too. within this month. I am finishing my essay. 2 professors who agreed to write me LoR seem a bit cold after almost 2 years since my graduation.. I am a bit worried about the LoRs to be honest :( Also do you know any website doing essays check which is not too pricey? I need my essays read and assessed before submitted...
