took my GMAT today.. and as the score suggests... got hammered 
Q:48, V:31 - as you can see.. my verbal sucked and I missed 1 question
Math I guess was ok..
Overall... math was a notch above OG... less tougher than GMATPrep. Got Probability and PC early on... nothing out of the blue though.. 2-3 step questions. Surprisingly no geomteric figures!! 1-2 simple geometry problems.. lots of wordy DS problems... I think I finished math 2 mins ahead of time.
Verbal.. SC's were OG Level... I must have screwed up on RC and CR big time... got two RC's back to back (3-10 I think).... couple of BF type questions in CR... but I lost track of time on verbal... had two back to back CR's in the end with like 30 secs left... panicked and ended up missing the last one
Disappointed. I may just apply with this score as I certainly don't plan on taking it again.

Did not know about your verbal skills but your quant skills are definitely on 700 level. and q48 is also definitely in the 700 range..
are you sure you dont want to retake it after a thorough verbal drill?
I have the same problem.. weak verbal, and I hope to improve on my second try.
How come your verbal was bad? did you practise less? were you suprised about the verbal result?

Vikram 640 is not that bad a score...cheer up man there is a lot more to the app process that just the GMAT score....work on the other aspects and you shall do just fine.

. I'm sure if you retake GMAT, you'll hit the 700 range!!!
