Hi sashaa99,
The good news about the Quant section of the GMAT is that most of the math that you'll have to do is fairly straight-forward arithmetic, algebra and geometry. Unfortunately, there are plenty of specialty formulas/rules that you also need to know and you have to have good "mechanics" (staying organized, writing everything down, doing the proper math steps, etc.).
Right now, you're describing 2 different issues - you're "rusty" (which is really about your memory/mechanics) and you're not sure about DS questions (which is about understanding the question type and the tactics that you can use to beat the various DS questions you'll see on Test Day).
The mechanical stuff should probably come first. Thankfully, there's a great free site that you can use to build those skills back up - Khan Academy.
As far as your Test Date is concerned, is January 24th the latest that you can take the GMAT or can you push your Test Date back?
Also, have you taken any FULL-LENGTH practice CATs yet? If you have, then how did you score?
