OK, here:

A = 5, B = 3, D = 4, C = 6 .... pick values so that both sides of the equation are balanced as Statement (1) suggests.

A - B = C - D
-> 5 - 3 = 6 - 4
-> 2 = 2

What numbers did you pick?

what if A<B.. then it will be negetive

Then to balance out the equation, either C has to be negative as well or D has to be larger than C.
