100^2 = 6^2 + x^2
(The ladder will make a right angle triangle against the wall)

x=8

6:8:10, rht.. opposite =8, B.

The ladder, the base of the floor and the wall makes a right angle triangle. say ABC

Now AB = 10 ,
BC = 6
CA = ?

We should remember the Pythagorean triplet to solve it faster.
So, 3,4,5 is a Pythagorean triplet and their multiples is also a Pythagorean Triplet
i.e. 6,8,10.

So, CA = 8
